Our Adventure begins (with a plane ride)

                    Today is our last day living in our hotel. Around noon today we have to start driving to Dulles  Airport. Our hotel is about 1-1 1/2 hours away so we have a little car ride. We have to arrive to the airport 5 hours early! And the plane leaves around 6:00pm (Maryland time), so when we get on the plane ride we go from Virginia (the Dulles airport) to San Francisco (SFO). Then we wait there for a few hours, and our Dad got us into the club (where they will give us food and nicer seats will we wait). And we get on the plane to SFO, which is about 5 or 6 hours long. Next we would wait to board the plane to SYD and probably walk around a lot. Then we will board out plane to SYD, which is about 14 hours long! When we arrive it will about 8 or 9 am Sydney time and we will stay in a hotel for about one day till we get a rental car. Once we do we can drive to our house in Canberra. I’m so excited to see our new house in person. The only hard thing (other than out super long flights and maybe lines at the airports) is we have 16 bags/luggage total: 8 checked luggage (big suitcases), 4 carry-ons that go above our seats(small suitcases), and 4 other carry-ons that go under our seats(backpacks). Anyways, on out first flight from Dulles to SFO we are in Economy plus, 3 seat in the middle and 1 seat across the isle. On our second flight (SFO to SYD) my Mom, Lauren, and me are in premium plus (slightly bigger seats, but not by much. Just enough for them to make us pay more). While our Dad is in business class (big seats that can lay flat). Since he had enough miles they upgraded him (I hope we get upgraded too), but if he sleeps better (hopefully he will) he will be less grumpy and/or tired. But we might have a stranger next to us in my Dad’s old seat, but if they don’t I get an extra seat! Today we said good-bye to our cats for the last time for 3 years, we will miss them so much miss them so much. On Saturday we said bye to our friends, which was very sad. So our last few days have been a little sad but today we are finishing packing up and getting on the flights. I am excited to see all the cool places in Australia. I think we will have an awesome time after we get settled in our new house and unpack all our stuff.
