Thank You Australia

Today Shannon and the girls will say goodbye to Canberra as the three of them prepare to move back to Maryland. We are heading back ahead of Mike to get the girls ready to being 6th and 9th grades.  It is going to be very hard to say goodbye (hopefully it is just see you later) to Australia. This has been an absolutely incredible 2.5 years for us all. We are so thankful for this opportunity and all we were able to do and see together as a family. First trip to Tidbinbilla in 2022 It is really hard to sum up all the fun we have had in Australia. But we will try. Below are some pictures of some highlights from our time here: Rottnest quokka- what mike calls a rat with good marketing Bicheno, Tasmania Australia Rock, Narooma Blue Pool, Bermagui Fiji bottle feeding joeys                                           Great Ocean Road Matilda's world cup match Hobbiton, North Island, New Zealand                                           Mt. When we went up to Mollymook beach over the summer, we came across a beach on the way that is known for having kangaroos on the beach. While we were checking it out, we noticed there were little cottages at the beach that could be rented out. We decided to return to this beach and rent one of the cottages. Pebbly Beach is about 2.5 hours away from Canberra on the New South Wales coastline. It is famous for its kangaroos. Even without the kangaroos, it is a beautiful sandy coastline. We stayed at Pebbly Beach Escape , which offers fully refurbished 1940's cabins. The property is just really well taken care of and we had a really lovely stay here.   As it is winter, we did
